Kinda broad and a little bit dumb but it'll do. I wanted to do a comic inspired by a song but I don't wanna steal Ace's idea. Either way I'm probably going to do a comic. Looking at my inspirations, I should do something gritty and dark or retro and bright, or a combo? As for content though, I have no idea.

I'm also very sad that mullets/noses aren't on here... oh well I guess Kaiji sums it up...

It's not stealing an idea, and Ace isn't doing a comic anymore anyway :) (check out the one I posted in her comments section-- it's a great example of a song made into a comic)

Have you made a comic before? They always take a lot longer than you expect, so it's important that you have a really good idea of what you want before you start! (plus, you have to lay out the pages for next week) If you do a song, you at least have a story to translate instead of starting from scratch and trying to figure out what the heck to do. Simplifying the idea of the comic would also be good since you only have 2-3 pages and you don't want to cram them with tooons of panels to draw, maybe even a comic without dialogue or using the lyrics of the song. (if you don't use a song, thinking of a simple sort of story sans dialogue would probably be best, and a good challenge to your narrative abilities--something about dualities? Mythology?)

How does that sound? I think figuring out WHAT you want to do will help you figure out HOW (i.e. gritty or retro) you want to do it!

um katie, obviously your comic should be about gay desu robots

i know you do a lot of comics so i think you're up for the challenge if anyone is. but obviously you need more of a concept, so maybe you should post again before tuesday??

i am glad our lists didn't turn out the same although they are close

I think the time I posted this explains a lot about my list.

Also yeah I'll do some brainstorming and post some more later.
