Food of the Gods!

Grandma Sunday's pumpkin pie (which I am not even supposed to eat for food sensitivity reasons, but hey). <3

Useless Trivia! Sunday family Thanksgiving is an epic event involving at least 50-60 people crammed into an old farmhouse at wall-to-wall dining tables.

edit: realized it was a bit tiny; higher resolution one is up now.

Mmm, pie. Grandmas are the best cooks, for sure! (However, does your grandma Kelsey in this picture have one giant hand holding the plate or is that 2 hands under there??)

Haha, well, she has two nonsensical hands. They got a bit lost.
Thanks all :)

I love her intensely long arms...
Also the rendering on the pie is awesome, I love all the brush strokes in there!

That pie is lovely depicted, you can sense the joy and time and love and pumpkin and pie crust and awesome in all the fabulous details.

But I am concerned about her red eyes. Can I really TRUST this pie?

i'm not a fan of pumpkin pie, but it looks damn good to eat here. that bottom drip of whipped cream melting over the pie just gives a sense of it being freshly heated in the oven, your mark making is really beautiful, particularly on the Redi Whip. The green background really works here too, excellent.

Grandma looks a little deranged to me... I agree with Katie, CAN WE TRUST THIS PIE?

It looks lovely though. Whipped cream especially!
