I think the markers-watercolor turned out pretty interesting and is a lot less linear than your others. Your choice of poses suggests a good amount of challenge and create interest. I wish you had pushed the pencil one a bit more, but other wise your media experimentation is pretty good.
Yeah, I think I could've pushed the pencil one more too, I think I just did it mainly to get some contour in there without value... My drawing class is getting to me AAAH!
The technical stuff: Each week you are required to post your weekly sketchbook here--they should be uploaded before class each week. (remember, when you're scanning and posting to the blog, sketches should probably be 72 dpi and in Grayscale or RGB. Finals for printing should be scanned at 300 dpi.)
I encourage you to comment on each other's work and post any other projects or doodles you'd like to share or would like input on--this can include progress on class assignments, experiments, or links of interest you think the class would enjoy. This blog is to encourage you to help each other out, get ideas flowing, and see what everyone is up to! Have fun with it!
I'll be posting something myself each week, so stay tuned!

I also like the watercolor hand! I think the shadows/shading in the hands could be pushed more...dramatic lighting would help with that!
Thanks Kali! Yeah I do need to try some more dramatic lighting with hands. Maybe I'll try it on the next blog assignment we have like this!
